After the military coup of September 11, 1973 that would overthrow the government of Salvador Allende in Chile, Maximiliano and Abigaíl, a young militant couple and members of the organization “COMIREV” decide to stay in the country to join the resistance against the recently established dictatorship civic-military. Along the way they must assume a life in hiding that will entail multiple challenges and sacrifices.

On September 4, 1970, Chile was the first country in the world to elect a Marxist-oriented president by democratic means, Salvador Allende. After 3 years of boycott, harassment and Lockouts promoted by the CIA and the Chilean right, President Allende was overthrown by a military coup on September 11, 1973 giving way to 17 years of a civic-military dictatorship in which he was killed, massacre , exiled and humiliated any form of opposition.
